Who we are
CtxE by TLE Labs is operated by Lê Phước Lộc, trading as TLE Labs, Vietnam. "We" in these terms means the operator.
The service
The CtxE client (the ctxe command line, its local dashboard and its MCP server) runs on your computer and keeps
your indexes there. Its hosted service, which embeds and reranks code, classifies symbols and answers Ask questions with
language models, runs on our servers and is paid for with credits.
Your account
- You sign in with Google or GitHub. One email address has one CtxE account, whichever provider you use.
- Keep your sign-in session private: anyone who has it can spend your credits.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Credits
- Each hosted request is charged in credits when it is sent to a model provider, at a price that depends on the model and the work done; every request costs at least one credit. A request that fails before reaching a provider is not charged. Every charge appears in the dashboard's usage history.
- Plan credits are granted for each paid billing period and expire at its end. They are spent before other credits.
- Credits from packs and the welcome credits given once when you first sign in never expire.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
Plans
- Monthly plans renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel them.
- An upgrade takes effect at once: you pay the price difference for the time left in the current period and receive the plan credit difference for the same share. A downgrade takes effect at the next period.
- When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed.
Payments
- Plans and credit packs are sold in the dashboard. Creem is the merchant of record: it processes the payment, issues the invoice and handles taxes.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
- Credits are added to your account once the payment is confirmed.
Refunds
- Payments for plans and credit packs are not refundable, except when you were charged by mistake or when the law requires a refund.
- Cancelling a plan stops the next renewal; the current period is not refunded.
- To ask for a refund, write to ctxe@tlelabs.com with the date and amount of the payment.
- If you dispute a payment with your bank, we may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved.
Acceptable use
- Only index and send code you have the right to process.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
Ending your use
You can stop using CtxE at any time. To delete your account, write to ctxe@tlelabs.com; remaining credits are lost and a live plan is cancelled first. We may stop offering the service; if we do, we will announce it in advance.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. Answers produced by language models can be wrong: check them before relying on them. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the service means you accept it.
